BUSTED

You know how prosecutors eventually get mafia dons locked up on charges of tax evasion? I wonder if, as in the case of Michael McDowell and Jason Mark Freeman, they’ll go after identity thieves via charges of littering. McDowell, 31, and Freeman, 30, are two Dallas guys stuck in the pokey in Shreveport after allegedly defrauding businesses in three states of more than $1 million. On second thought, maybe the tacked-on littering charge against Freeman was just for grins.
