PLUM SYKES IN DALLAS

|

Plum Sykes made a stop in Dallas last night for her Debutante Divorcee book tour. For those of you who don’t know the infamous Voguette, her first book, Bergdorf Blondes, captured the attention of fashionistas, debutantes, and socialites around the world. The success of the witty read led her to write another book based on the lives of single women in the city–only this time around, they have been married and divorced, or as she defines them, debutante divorcees–New York’s young, social, newly unwed girls.

Last night, the 3-month pregnant (not that you would notice with her super-slender figure) British brunette signed copies of the book for fans at Ralph Lauren in Highland Park Village (a very fitting place, except for the tight quarters). The gracious and friendly author made her rounds and only rested for a moment during the 2-hour event to get off her feet and have a little “nibble.” Afterward it was off to catch a bite and back to the Mansion, where the crew was all staying for the evening. Today they are headed to Houston.
