The owners of Sfuzzi in Las Colinas are going to change the name and the menu at the popular restaurant. One has to wonder why.

According to Teresa “Gubbshoe” Gubbins, the folks behind Sfuzzi in Las Colinas will change the name and menu of the popular restaurant in May. In Gubbshoe’s exclusive story, one of the owners  and former Spoon kick-starter, Brad Woy says: “”We listened not only to what our corporate clients wanted, but also the residents of Las Colinas who I believe are looking for a menu and an experience they can enjoy three or four times a week and not have to feel like they’re eating pizza or pasta.”

Maybe I’m just a cynic, but I’m reading “we want no part of La Reve Consultants” between the lines. La Reve’s location of Sfuzzi on McKinney closed on December 31, 2013.

The Sfuzzi sign will come down and be replaced by one reading Table & Tavern. Hector Hernandez is the chef and his ” elevated American classics” menu will include  Asian lettuce wraps, deviled eggs, street tacos, and fried chicken skin.
