Must have been the weather: yesterday at 5:30 pm, I had to eat eel. So JC and I headed up to the cocktail lounge at Five Sixty. The view outside was stellar, but I couldn’t help but gawk at our waitress. More specifically, her fabulous body. The cocktail waitresses at Five Sixty are required to wear these slinky black dresses at fingertip length. Each time she set something down on our low table, she had to bend both knees and squat halfway down. When she walked away, the flirty little dress sashayed dangerously across her backside.
I actually heard myself say, “Hey, I am not a lesbian but I can’t help myself from staring at your body.” She laughed. I laughed. We ate a Dragon roll and a Rainbow roll. Both were crazy good. Then I made the mistake of paying for our little meal with my credit card. Our sassy waitress handed me the bill and said, “I really like SideDish.” To the lovely Sara at Five-Sixty, we love you too.
