We Have a Mom Crush on Holly Davis

Who she is: Mom of two and healthy living crusader.

Why we love her: She channels her immense passion and knowledge about health, food, and the environment into helping families live their healthiest possible lives through her company Clean Fresh Living. Her pull no punches approach is tempered with warmth, humor, and a contagious passion for being your best possible self.

Let’s just say the woman is inspiring.

Oh and going forward she’ll be joining us here on the blog to share some of her knowledge and insight. It’s going to be good stuff…get ready!

But in the meantime, we take a quick peek into her world. Herewith a few things that make her tick.

(Some of Holly’s favorites: 1. Booties 2. Moleskin notepads 3. MyChelle lip balm 4. Organic edamame 5. Bob Marley & The Wailers)

Always in her handbagMyChelle Love Your Lips lip balm, debit card, iPhone with earphones for workout, organic raw almonds for energy and protein on the go, small hairbrush with ponytail holders on the handle for daughter Landry’s fast up dos for dance class, notepad for spontaneous inspirational thoughts, reminders or to dos.

Her uniform — Skinny jeans, loose fitting (but still rockin’) blouse, and booties.

On heavy rotation — Lately I’ve been on a Bob Marley kick, with a twist of Neon Trees

On her nightstand — I’m always reading research papers on disease, nutrition, chemicals, pesticides etc.. I’m also reading the book Smart but Scattered, as I study more tools for success for my 11 year old son Luke who has ADD and dyslexia

Her go-to meal — I cook three meals a day at home from the very best seasonal organic fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and poultry available. If I need a break, we usually pick up Sushi from Whole Foods, (All Veggie Variety for the Kids) Miso Soup (only in cardboard to-go containers), and I steam Organic Edamame at home. If my husband Stubbs and I have a date night out, we usually go to our friend Al Biernat’s restaurant where he offers a local, grass fed steak.
