Bill Bledsoe, associate and automotive specialist of Henry S. Miller, has been awarded the sales assignment for the Goodson Acura dealership in Irving. The owner of the property and dealership, a family trust led by CEO Clark Richardson, is relocating Goodson Acura to a property on Lemmon Avenue in Dallas.

According to Bledsoe, the Richardson family purchased the vacant 4801 Lemmon Ave. property in April 2010. The property was once the home of now defunct Park Cities Chrysler Jeep Dodge. In addition to Goodson Acura, the Richardson family operates another dealership, Audi Dallas, two doors down. The family has decided to relocate Goodson Acura so their two dealerships will be closer together, said Bledsoe; the family plans to make the move this October.

Goodson Acura is currently located at 1750 E. Airport Fwy., just west of the intersection of Walton Walker Boulevard and Airport Freeway. Built in 1986 and renovated in 2001, the dealership features a 73,000-square-foot showroom.

“I’m optimistic about the market for this,” said Bledsoe. “Dealers are starting to feel better about the economy, so they’re looking to upgrade their facilities. This property offers many amenities that dealers don’t have.”
