Bad news for all you Calvin Klein loving fashionistas…the announcement was released last night that the freestanding boutique in Highland Park Village, that’s been there for over 20 years, will be closing its doors for good come December 2005. HIGHLAND PARK VILLAGE STORE PLANNED TO CLOSE AT YEAR-END

New York, NY — July 27, 2005, — Calvin Klein, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation [NYSE: PVH], announced the planned closing of the Calvin Klein Collection store in Highland Park Village in Dallas, Texas today. Calvin Klein Collection has maintained a store in Highland Park Village for over 20 years. The store will continue operations through December 2005.

“The customer profile has changed in Highland Park Village since the Dallas Calvin Klein Collection store opened. In keeping with our global retail strategy, the expansion of the Calvin Klein Collection stores will be more international in focus rather than national, as seen by the recent openings of new Calvin Klein Collection stores in Milan and Dubai. The continued focus for the U.S. business, is on further developing key wholesale accounts,” said Tom Murry, President & COO, Calvin Klein, Inc.

Within the past year, Calvin Klein Collection has added new freestanding store locations within three of the top fashion luxury markets in the world: Milan, Dubai, and Rome. Other current locations include CKI-operated stores in New York and Paris, and stores in Moscow, Seoul, Singapore, and Taipei operated by partners. Calvin Klein Collection is also distributed globally through select luxury department and specialty stores.
