After a year’s hiatus, our annual Best New Restaurants feature is back! (Find it in the upcoming December 2021 issue of D Magazine.) And with its glossy, in-print return, comes our chef-packed dinner.
Come sup with us on Tuesday, December 7. In a seated 10-course dinner, we’ll savor dishes and tip back drinks from Dallas’ most exciting restaurants of the year. You’ll get a glimpse of the skills and flavors that really wowed us this year. No, no, we can’t say who’s who just yet—that remains hush-hush until December.
What we can say is that our food scene has weathered many tough storms—figuratively and, sadly, very literally—over the last two years nearly. The chefs, cooks, servers, and dreamers never faltered in their desire to bring us incredible dining experiences. That’s ultimately what this celebration is about: perseverance of the most delicious variety.
In 2019, the last time we gathered for this feast, we highlighted restaurants such as Homewood, Khao Noodle Shop, Ka-Tip, and Salaryman. Which is to say: this will be a fantastic meal with some of the best newcomers under one roof.
So join us in our jubilee. We’ll post up inside On The Levee (1108 Quaker St., in the Design District) with an intimate setup for our coursed meal.
