Five artists in The Stewpot’s community outreach art program will have their work featured in Immersive Van Gogh, the exhibition projecting the works of the Dutch master in a downtown exhibition space. Luis Arispe, Misty Teresa Zacarias, Colleen Pryor, Charles Williams, and Edwin Fuller, participants in the homelssness nonprofit’s art program, each contributed paintings to the van Gogh-inspired collection in the exhibition’s retail shop.

The exhibition, housed in Lighthouse Artspace, is the first community partnership for the new arts venue, which plans to host social impact programming and exhibitions in Dallas. The Stewpot is a short walk away on the east side of downtown.

Impact Museum, the Los Angeles-based company that operates the space, said its mission was to support local organizations and artists. “As our neighbor in the East Quarter, [The Stewpot] further empower their community through creativity with an Art Program, which perfectly aligns with Impact Museum’s values to support local organizations and individuals,” said Mark Shedletsky, Co-producer of Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit.

One hundred percent of each purchase goes directly towards the five participants of The Stewpot Art program. The Immersive Van Gogh exhibition runs until November 28.
