Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins reported 1,401 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday. There were two deaths of individuals in their 60s and 70s.


Governor Greg Abbott announced new plans for COVID-19 treatment distribution on Tuesday as further information about medicine and vaccines is released. More than 2,500 health care providers have enrolled in The Department of State Health Service’s distribution program, KERA News reported.


Over 3,800 Texans tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday with 26 new deaths. 6,000 patients are hospitalized across the state, similar to the previous day, The Texas Tribune reported.


COVID-19 cases within Keller ISD are on the rise following the temporary closure of some elementary school campuses last week. Meanwhile, health officials in Tarrant county are suggesting students may return to fully remote learning due to the pandemic, The Dallas Morning News reported.
