Tenet Healthcare is on Fortune’s List of Most Admired Companies

|

Fortune magazine has named Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare Corporation as one of the world’s most admired companies in annual survey of industry leaders and members of the financial community.

Fortune worked with global management consulting firm Korn Ferry to manage the survey, which analyzed companies in 52 countries. Executives, directors, and analysts were asked to rate organizations in their own industry in everything from investment value to social responsibility and attracting talent.

Tenet is a 110,000 employee healthcare services company that operates 65 hospitals and 500 other healthcare facilities. Tenet CEO Ron Rittenmeyer was named D CEO Magazine’s Outstanding Healthcare Executive during the Excellence in Healthcare Awards last year.

“This important recognition reflects the hard work, dedication and commitment of our caregivers and supporting team members in fulfilling our mission,” said Ron Rittenmeyer, Executive Chairman and CEO of Tenet Healthcare via release. “We are honored to be a part of this list once again and remain committed to continuing to earn the trust and confidence of the communities we serve.”
