Bishop won the TMA Medical Student Section Student of the Year award in 2014 and served on the TMA Board of Trustees as a representative of the TMA Medical Student Section and the TMA Resident and Fellow Section.

Dr. Kim Rice is a Dallas nephrologist who has been in practice for 21 years,  and has served as a member of the TMA House of Delegates from 2012-2014. She is affiliated with Dallas Nephrology Associates and is a past member of the board of directors of the Dallas County Medical Medical Society.
