|

Prime Therapeutics, a pharmacy benefit manager, is adding 200 customer service positions at its contact center in Irving. The new employees will support the company’s member growth in the Medicare, pharmacy home delivery and health care exchange businesses.

“Irving has been, and continues to be, an excellent market for the skill set we need to deliver a superior experience for our members,” Glen Laschober, Prime’s chief operating officer, said in a statement. “In return, the creation of 200 more professional jobs in Irving helps the local economy, making this a win-win for everyone.”

Customer service representatives will handle incoming calls from members. They will assist and support members and participating pharmacy networks by communicating information regarding their benefit plans, assuring they are satisfied and that their claims are being processed accurately.

Prime currently employs more than 600 at its Irving location. In addition to customer service representatives, the facility houses pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, contact center supervisors, finance, human resources, and IT staff.  Prime is seeking to fill the 200 positions immediately, with start dates ranging from August 5 to October 7. All job openings in the Irving office are posted on the Prime Careers website.
