Texas Health Resources Opens Behavioral Health Center in Frisco

|

Texas Health Resources has opened the Texas Health Seay Behavioral Health Center Frisco, at 5858 Main Street, Ste. 200.

The center will offer free assessments; patients may be recommended to any Seay Behavioral Health level of care. The new site is a satellite location of the Seay Behavioral Health Center, which offers inpatient and outpatient services on the campus of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano.

“We see a great need for behavioral health services and are excited to be opening in the Frisco community,” said Ross Teemant, LCSW, director of the Seay Behavioral Health Center, in a statement.

According to THR, more than 250 people have left Frisco to seek outpatient behavioral health treatments in the past two years.

The Frisco center will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for assessments. Therapy will focus primarily on psychiatric, women’s health, and chemical dependency intensive outpatient programs. There will be treatment options for adolescents and adults, with both day and evening hours.

“Our mission is to improve the health of the communities we serve,” said Mike Evans, president of Texas Health Plano, in a statement. “Having community-based locations such as the Frisco center are just another way we are accomplishing that mission.”
