Back in March, I wrote about Dallas resortwear designer Sai Sankoh and her rapidly growing line of gorgeous caftans and sets that make you want to hop on a flight to Turks and Caicos right this minute. A Sierra Leone native, Sankoh moved to Texas a few years ago and eventually quit her job as a nurse to focus on designing full-time.

Now, celebrities seem to have taken notice of her bold, bright prints and billowing shapes. Queen B herself was seen yesterday wearing the lime green Algeria Shirt Dress while out and about. Let’s be honest. When Beyoncé wears your clothes, you know you’ve made it.

Other celebrities who’ve made a statement wearing Sai Sankoh include actress Gabrielle Union, who was recently photographed wearing the Aphrodite Goddess Kaftan while on vacation in Italy with her family. Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child was a knockout in the Zendaya Pant Suit. And Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey got engaged wearing the luminous Riviera Shirt Dress and has been seen in other Sai Sankoh looks too.

I have a feeling her fan club is about to get a lot bigger.
