It’s a week of topping outs. Following Crescent’s construction milestone at The Luminary, Harwood International has topped out construction at its building called No. 10, which will be completed this winter.

The 22-story, 220,000-square-foot office tower on McKinnon Street near Uptown got underway in September 2016. The tower joins neighborhing Harwood International developments such as luxury condo tower Bleu Ciel and office buildings Saint Ann Court and Frost Tower. A forthcoming No. 11 called The Forum is also in the works.

Harwood No. 10

The topping out comes after a few leasing wins from Harwood. In March, BCG renewed its nearly 70,000-square-foot lease at Saint Ann Court. In April, Northern Trust Corporation expanded its lease to 13,000 square feet, also at Saint Ann Court.

No. 10 will stitch together with Harwood No. 4 at 2828 N. Harwood Street through a cobblestone walkway lined with restaurants and retail spaces, including sidewalk patios. This year, Harwood is celebrating its 30th anniversary, having first started bringing commercial buildings to the Uptown area in Harwood No. 1 with the iconic Rolex clock atop its seven stories. Harwood is a international development and investment firm founded by Gabriel Barbier-Mueller. It has offices in London, Switzerland, and California, and is headquartered in Dallas.
