In the midst of one of Dallas’ most difficult moments, Bullzerk has created a design they hope fosters a sense of unity throughout the city. The Lower Greenville shop, run by husband-and-wife duo Kari and Dan Bradley, is known for its hyperlocal designs in the form of T-shirts, posters, coasters, and mugs.

Last week, the Bradleys released the idea for a mock political campaign T-shirt featuring Dallas Police Chief David O. Brown and Mayor Mike Rawlings on their Instagram account. (It should be noted that Brown has Twitter’s vote.) “Within 12 hours, we had 148 comments [encouraging us] to print them. So we did,” Dan says. The shop has sold more than 300 since last Thursday.

The design for the shirt was inspired by the aftermath of the July 7 ambush that left five police officers dead. “We wanted to show support of our city officials in a fun way,” Dan says.

The shop also has a “Unite Dallas” shirt. Proceeds will be donated to the Assist the Officer Foundation to aid officers and their families.

The shirts are available online and at Bullzerk’s Dallas Farmers Market location. Order a shirt or take a look at the shop’s other designs.
