BLUSHING BEAUTY (left)
Sweet pinks on the eyes and cheeks let the lips do the talking. For a pearlescent effect, layer shimmery pink shadow over shimmery pastel green. Sweep a pink blush (similar in tone to the lipstick) into the crease of the eye and to the apples of the cheeks. Then coat your lashes with extra mascara, or try flirty false demi-lashes in black. Use a lipstick, lip liner, and gloss for a pretty, pouty pucker.

SWEET CITRUS (right)
True, orange can be intimidating, but a citrusy shade will make light eyes appear bluest. To tone down this look for daytime, sparingly apply a coppery shadow to the lid and closest to the lash line and blend upward. Next, use a matte eye shadow to highlight under the brows, and blend the two shades at the crease. Frost the inner corners of the eyes with a white-gold highlighter, and top lashes with two coats of mascara.

Candy Apple (left)
Sara believes red is a shade for every skin tone. Start with a yellow-gold shimmer powder on the lower lid, then add sizzle with a shimmery red shadow in the crease and as eyeliner. Ignite this look by using a red blush on cheeks and red/gold gloss on lips. For instant pop, try using a red eye shadow, blush, or lipstick in the crease of the eye.

Plum Perfect (right)
Used on the lower lid, a purple shadow adds instant sparkle to green or brown eyes. To avoid a “black eye,”—one shiner you don’t want—apply all eye shadow prior to applying your foundation and concealer. Wipe away all of the eye shadow “fallout” that may have landed under the eyes or on the face. Then apply foundation and concealer as needed and powder optionally. Line the upper lash line and the inner rims with a dark plum eyeliner. Keep the cheeks and lips soft by using a bronzer and sheer lip gloss.

Icy Haute
Who said blue eye shadow is a “don’t”? To make blue a “do,” pair powdery sky hues with a shadow that matches your hair color. Here Sara placed a moonlit blue shadow next to a shimmery taupe to complement Cassi’s neutral tresses. Not a brunette? Redheads should trade taupe for a coppery shade, while blondes should try a sparkly gold shadow.
