H.D.’s, both the men’s and women’s stores (which are next door to each other on Greenville), is having a legitimate sale. Like, sale sale. Owner Vicki DeMarco says it best: “None of that 20 percent off stuff.” Every year, H.D. owners Vicki and her husband Harry travel to Europe, pick up gobs of funky European stuff and stock their stores with it. In order to bring in the new goods, everything must go, hence the sale right now. (Beautiful Chaos, as it’s called.) From now until June 29, everything in the store is 40 percent off. From June 30 through July 5, everything is 50 percent off. July 6 through July 7 everything is 60 percent off, and on the final sale days, Friday, July 9 and Saturday, July 10, everything will be 70 percent off. The two gorgeous dresses in the photo, left, are part of the sale. Jeans, tuxedo blouses, studded black pants, printed off-the-shoulder blouses, and tees in fun colors, long enough to be paired with leggings are in the mix. Prices fall in the low hundreds range, but add the discount, and well, you understand. Massive savings on outfits no one else in Dallas will be wearing. The men’s store is full of equally exciting goodies. Diesel jeans, Italian graphic tees, ultra trendy printed button-ups, and retro-inspired pearl snap shirts.
