Wild West Products is located in Carrollton and produces the greatest western-themed snacks I’ve ever seen. The list of treats is quite long and includes cookies, lollipops, brittle, chocolates, and trail mix. One of my favorites from their selection is the Wild West Cookies. Cinnamon graham cookies are baked in the shape of stars, Texas, boots, cowboy hats, and the Alamo. The packaging is adorable and makes me proud to call these folks local.

Wild West started when graphic designer and owner, Tina, decided to bake up a batch of cow-shaped cookies and sell them at the San Antonio rodeo. Soon enough she was busier making cookies than designing graphics. In an attempt to marry the two, Tina decided to take her success with the cookies and add to it a great looking cow print box. The cookie line grew from there and then expanded into the other snacks. A few of my other favorites are the Texas-shaped lollipops, Lone Star mints and Chisholm Tril trail mix.

Wild West Products does sell to the public but focuses more on their wholesale customers. Central Market locations throughout Texas sell the company’s snacks, along with several gift stores, grocers, and candy stores in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
