National Pi Day is right around the corner, and Olivella’s is celebrating with an event called “Taking Pi off your Pie,” clever, right? On Saturday, March 14 from 3:14 to 4:14 p.m., Olivella’s will take $3.14 off its Romana-style pizza pies.

Head down to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival on Greenville Ave. before celebrating at one of the many Irish pubs in Dallas. Several spots like The Old Monk will open their doors early to serve parade goers who get there early. Be sure to browse our more comprehensive rundown of festivities here.

Sunday

The fun continues but this time exclusively for families. Trinity Hall Pub offers Family Ceili Day, a three-hour event with Irish food, traditions and music without the boisterous crowds of people. There will be an assortment of musicians from banjos to fiddles. This free event starts at 3 p.m.

Here’s a reason why you may want to make plans to go to West 7th for St. Paddy’s Day. Bar Louie is a part of a pub crawl with a purpose. Not only does a portion of the proceeds will go to Hope’s Center for Autism but a lucky few will receive a free Guinness just for doing so. The drinks start flowing at 3 p.m.
