Many of you use our weekly schedule to seek out the food trucks in Dallas/Fort Worth, and many of you have asked for an improved solution to find out the closest food truck to you. Right now.
Today we are happy to announce a collaboration with Beecon: an interactive map (above) showing you the current daily food truck locations. Beecon has both San Francisco and Dallas/Fort Worth locations. You can download their free itunes app, or just click on the cool “Food Truck Finder” logo at the top of the right sidebar anytime here on SideDish.
Beecon starts with our weekly feed to populate its database, and then has a dedicated employee to ensure that the location database is accurate. From now on, when we publish the schedule each Monday, you’ll get the Beecon map embedded in our blog post.
