New Restaurant for Chef Blaine Staniford

|

Welcome to another episode of As the Chef Turns. In today’s drama, former Fuse, and Scene chef Blaine Staniford finds a new home behind the range at Grace, a new restaurant scheduled to open in Fort Worth. Just a few weeks ago, Blaine parted ways with his restaurants quite suddenly. We still don’t know all the reasons for the corporate breakup but according to the press release I just got, we shouldn’t care. Here is the official announcement.

In what has become Fort Worth’s most anticipated restaurant opening of the year, GRACE owner Adam Jones is pleased to announce that Blaine Staniford will serve as executive chef of the restaurant. Staniford is one of the region’s most celebrated chefs, known for his inventive cuisine, and appearing regularly on Good Morning Texas. He has also been featured on the Rachel Ray show. As executive chef, Staniford will interpret the Modern American classic cuisine that Jones believes Fort Worth is ready for.

Wow, do you really think Fort Worth can handle it? I mean there are so many Pleistocene Nouveau restaurants in Cowtown, I’m not sure they can handle Modern American. But I have to say, the dude got a job fast. We like that. Keep us posted, Blaine.
