Two Home Tours to Hit Up this Weekend

Looking to impress your sweet momma with some fun activities to do on Mother’s Day? Well, here you go—we did all the research for you. Hit these tours up back-to-back, or one each day of the weekend, and take in the pretty sights.

2014 Swiss Avenue Historic District Mother’s Day Tour, May 10 and 11

Take a gander at eight early-20th century homes on Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm or Sunday noon to 6 pm. There will also be antique cars on display, an art fair, live entertainment, free horse-drawn carriage rides, and much more. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Fairmount Tour of Homes, May 10 and 11

This tour may be in Fort Worth, but if your mom (or anybody in your life, really) is in to historic craftsman bungalow homes, it’s worth the drive. There are seven homes on tour, plus a bonus space: the De Zavala Elementary school. Tickets are $12 in advance, or $18 the day of the tour.
