Fresh Fiddlehead from Elizabeth Hamilton

Fiddlehead by Elizabeth Hamilton

Fiddlehead is one of the wallpapers from the new Elizabeth Hamilton textile collection at George Cameron Nash—love the collection. It’s very nature inspired using the tones of plant dyes, and has an Indian bohemian—chic perspective. This subtle little over all pattern seems to me to be a fresh interpretation of some old classic wallpaper patterns like Cowtan & Tout’s “Sea Coral” from the 1980s and Osborne and Little’s Shagreen from the 1990s. These patterns became the “it girls” of wallpaper and showed up in every single traditional (read: all) installations either in the entry, guest bath, or armoire interior. So, is Fiddlehead the new “it” wallpaper?
