This spring, Finnish company Marimekko, known for its bold colors and designs, is opening shops at Crate & Barrel stores in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and San Francisco. But Dallas isn’t left out entirely. We can make our purchases online in Crate & Barrel’s new online Marimekko shop. There are pillows and plates and furniture and fine wearables, all featuring the signature zippy patterns Marimekko is famous for. The poppy design you see here has been the company’s most popular print since its introduction in 1964. I think that makes it a classic.
