The “Nature Bound” exhibition at the Amon Carter is on view through May 29, and we think it is a must-see. The illustrated botanical books on display come from the collections of the museum as well as the Botanical Research Institute of Texas. Dating from the early 17th century, the books focus on North American plant life, with an emphasis on plants from the United States. In addition to being scientific tools for identification, the illustrations are also lovely works of art.
