We are one step closer, people! Remember when we were talking about that proposed $80 million maritime museum on the Trinity and how some folks want to stock it with the USS Dallas, the nuclear submarine used to film Hunt for Red October? Yeah, well, we did talk about it. And I suggested we go through with Councilman Dwaine Caraway’s idea to build a canal down Main Street so we could use the Dallas as a water trolly. Well, yesterday the Dallas finished its final deployment. It is done serving America, and it is now ready to serve visitors headed to City Tavern.
