In the true spirit of discount shop-ping, we’re honor-bound to spread the word: Thursdays, Fridays, and Satir-days, from 8:30 to 4, the warehouse district behind the Loews Anatole. Hotel (on Valdina and Vantage streets) is a teeming shoe outlet center. This, is discount shopping at its most bourgeois. Open warehouses loaded with nane-braid shoes, crowds of women surrounding tables, pulling and shoving to find the mates to randomly selected shoes. But. boy oh Bally, are the savings her. You’ll never pay more than $25 for a pair of shoes, and most are half of that. Some are brand-new; some have been used by models on runways; some are pure junk. Go, sort, push, shove, enjoy!
