Speaking of Mavs trades, a headline-scanning FrontBurnervian passes along this NYPost item. Peter Vescey has it from “an infallible source” that Avery wanted Cuban to trade Dirk after his lackluster leadership role against the Warriors last week. Avery, obviously, was outvoted.
Update: As the first commenter kindly pointed out, Cuban was quick to call Vescey’s source a liar.
