In case you hadn’t heard (and before Paul gets a chance to blog it), the Dow Jones Board approved Rupert Murdoch’s $5 billion bid for the Wall Street Journal. Boardmember (and Dallas’) Christopher Bancroft wasn’t too happy about that. He’d been trying to get other rich people to buy into the paper but came up short. At the recent family meeting to discuss the bid, he reportedly left early.
