My wife and I noticed on our way to work–yeah, sometimes we ride share like that–Buster’s, the casual Mexican restaurant at Knox and Central, is kaput. It didn’t last long, a matter of months, it seems. Neither did Baja Fresh, the casual Mexican food joint that held that spot previous. Quick theories as to why that spot is doomed: 1. Parking is no good. Once you turn down the frontage road to get to the parking entrance, you tell yourself, “Might as well go to Potbelly.” 2. Those in the mood for Mexican food in that area would rather go to Chuy’s. 3. A conspiracy by David Stern and the refs. I look forward to the next casual Mexican food spot to give it a go.
