A North Texas native and Texas Christian University student has been awarded first place in the residential design section of the Sherwin-Williams Stir Student Design Contest. Cortni Stevenson designed a colorful and contemporary take on a Miami Beach high-rise condominium. Her designs included Art Deco elements, rich and energizing colors, Brazilian street art, and Bauhaus-style architecture.
“This was a fun project that pushed my knowledge of color and taught me how to express a story within an interior using multiple colors and design styles,” Cortni says.
