If you are one of those people who would rather skip out on a full turkey spread at your boyfriend’s second cousin’s house (or maybe just leave a little early), and head to the bar to watch football with your friends, who you are very thankful for, then this is the list for you. Here’s where to drink on Thanksgiving in Dallas.

The Ginger Man
This bar prides itself on being open all 365 days of the year. On Thanksgiving, they will be offering their new monthly beers.

Smoke
Enjoy a variety of holiday drinks at Smoke. Their special menu will be offered all day, featured cocktails include the Giving Thanks made with vanilla and pecan infused bourbon, ginger snap and angostura bitters, and The Harvest made with cranberry jam, vodka, lime, and cointreau.

The Nodding Donkey
If you need a place to watch the game and celebrate, the Nodding Donkey has a seat for you at the bar. The bar is offering $5 local drafts to accompany your turkey day celebrations.

The Old Monk
This rustic bar will be open all day. Stand around and socialize with a glass of wine in your hand and dig into those loaded cheese fries (turkey is overrated anyways, right?).

Katy Trail Ice House
Grab family and friends and head to the Katy Trail Ice House this Thanksgiving. Sit outside and enjoy the crip fall air while you watch some football. All domestic drafts and well drinks are $1 off.

Ivy Tavern
Starting Thursday afternoon you can enjoy various specials at the Ivy Tavern. Head over to grab $1 off everything and $3.95 wells. After 7 p.m., they offer $5 house infusions.

The Skellig
This Irish-style pub has food and drinks that can be ordered inside or out. Located on Henderson Avenue, you can enjoy a happy hour even on turkey day.

Barley House
In need of a casual location to watch the game? Barley House has your beer, loaded cheese fries, and fried pickles. Enjoy their regular Thursday specials, and outdoor patio.

Armoury D.E.
Spend your Thursday noshing on stellar bar food and sipping over-the-top cocktails at this lovely Deep Ellum bar.

Frankie’s
Frankie’s is awaiting your arrival this Thursday. This neighborhood sports bar is offering their weekly Thursday specials: house wells, Bud Light, Budweiser, Coors Light, and Miller Lite for $3 until 7 p.m. Bring the family and relax.

Libertine Bar
Enjoy pints of beers in Lower Greenville along with seasonal dishes on Thanksgiving day.
