‘Big Little Lies’ and Equinox Are Teaming Up This Week

An advance screening of the second season and a “Big Little Stretch” class might finally persuade you to join the gym.

Personally, I can’t get enough “Big Little Lies” content. Which is a very good thing, because there is a lot of “Big Little Lies” content in the world right now. Here’s the “Monterey Five” gracing multiple ’60s-inspired InStyle covers. (They had things to say!) There they are (as a group!) on GMA giving an exclusive interview about season 2. Here’s Meryl Streep forgetting how many glasses of wine she drank after a long day on set.

Fun! But what if a “Big Little Lies” fan wanted to take things a step further? What if Big Little Liars (is that what we call the fandom?) wanted content they could actually interact with? What would that even look like?

Well, in another example of luxury fitness aligning with powerful media conglomerates, HBO and Equinox are going to show us exactly what that looks like. This Friday (June 7), Equinox Highland Park is partnering with the cable network to share an advance screening of the second season’s first episode (the rest of the world will have to wait until Sunday night), followed by spa services (like hydrafacials, massages, and manicures), light bites, and “thematic drinks” (perhaps the “fizzy pink” cocktails from school trivia night?).

Equinox members (nationwide) also have the option to sign up for the “Big Little Stretch” class, a twist on the gym’s popular “Best Stretch Ever” set to music from the show’s soundtrack (truly a must-follow Spotify playlist). Attendees will also receive limited-edition swag bags, which I’m certain will include a plastic wine glass.
