It is official – Autumn Smink just told me they signed the lease to take over the Gerald Peters space on Dragon St. And soon – they have to be out the end of April. Moving a showroom in one month? At least the space is perfectly finished out, and the Smink sister won’t have any time to stress about it. Loyd Scott has been trying to get them over right across from her in the Decorative Center for ages – and as we know – there is a ton of empty space there. Seems the Decorative Center just wasn’t that interested in working with them. Not to worry, the annual Knoll sale will be in May in the new space. My prediction? More retail furniture will be moving to Dragon St.
