I’ve known Melisa Ambers since childhood, so I can say with confidence that her recent transformation to yoga instructor and all-around person of light is something to aspire to. This new yogi quit her corporate job and changed the direction of her life–for the better, of course. And now she’s teaching yoga classes (mostly restorative) at her in-home yoga studio on–you guessed it–Black Berry Lane in North Dallas. She’s currently offering an hour-long drop-in class on Thursdays at 5:45 for $11, and if you bring a friend, you get a free future class. Also noteworthy: a portion of that $11 goes to the New Beginnings Cat Rescue. For more information, or to receive her newsletter, you can e-mail Melisa at [email protected].
