In announcing the latest installment in its series of documentaries about great American cities, Bravo said: “Pack your cowboy boots and 10-gallon hats because The Real Housewives of Dallas is coming to Bravo this spring! … In Dallas, it’s all about negotiating between the worlds of the old money and the new money, but no matter where you fall, know that this Texas city likes to live life loud. And you’ve been warned: everything’s bigger in Texas.” It is refreshing that it appears the show will not be set in Oak Cliff.
Cary Deuber, 39
@CaryDeuber
The yogi and “travel guru” is married to plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Deuber. She lives on Strait Lane and, according to Bravo, “has a refreshing, dry sense of humor with an air of confidence and a heart of gold.” Sounds like a cross between a good Chardonnay and Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman.
Brandi Redmond, 37
@BrandiRedmond
The former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader lives in Plano with her husband Bryan and their two daughters, Brooklyn and Brinkley. In her Twitter bio, she says, “I’m obsessed with Jesus.” We are guessing that if she’d given birth to our Savior, she would have named him Brandon.
Stephanie Hollman, 35
@stephhollman
She lives on a golf course at the Four Seasons and is married to Travis, whose family owns a locker manufacturer. He writes lists of chores so that Stephanie can make her own money, and Bravo says, “Stephanie is not afraid to speak her mind and find her voice.” But she’ll still do chores for money.
LeeAnne Locken, 48
@LeeAnneLocken
She grew up as a carny, competed in the ’89 Miss USA Pageant, and lives in Preston Hollow with her boyfriend, Rich Emberlin, a Dallas cop. Bravo says, “Known by everyone who is anyone, LeeAnne has … the ability to truly ruffle some Dallas feathers.” Note: John Wiley Price doesn’t know who she is.
Tiffany Hendra, 44
@TiffanyHendra
She has done soft-core porn and lives in North Dallas with her musician husband, Aaron Hendra, of The Aaron Hendra Project. Bravo says, “[W]ith her unwavering faith … this Asian-American spitfire hopes to create her own voice and rediscover her roots.” Cultural or tonsorial, we’re not sure.
