Back To Class

Children’s clothes take a regal turn for the past
|

Remember your Sunday best? It was strictly for trips to grandmother’s house and Sunday School. You never broke out your starched and pressed whites for anything but special occasions. And then you had to sit like ladies and gentlemen, with ankles crossed and gloved hands still.

If all children – even yours – balk at frills and lace and sitting up straight, well, that’s just life’s continuum. But tradition need not be relegated to the cobwebbed back pages of the family album.

Put a touch of class into your children’s schooltime wardrobe with pastel pinafores and durable knickers, starched cotton shirts and colorful bow ties.

Bring out the saddle shoes and polish the Mary Janes (remember them?) You can let the kids go from teatime to playtime and still make grandmother proud.
