Imitating Wylie H. Is Now a Thing For Dallas City Council Members

|

I wasn’t on last week — Saturday was the kick-off to the Premier League, duh — but I still think you should listen to Get Off My Lawn (Saturdays, 10 a.m., 89.3 KNON). This past week, Scott Griggs sat in to tell Jim why I’m right and he’s wrong about Museum Tower. (He didn’t phrase it that way, but still.) Then someone called in with a (terrible) fake Wylie H.-as-Bane voice: District 14 City Councilman Philip Kingston. Then Wylie H. himself calls in, but this time he’s using the “girl” setting on his Bane-voice-generator. It’s all very weird.

Anyway, I’ll be on tomorrow. Jim never tells me what we’re going to talk about, but I suspect it’s DISD-related. Party.

P.s.: Try to figure out who’s texting Griggs during the commercials. My guess is it rhymes with Bangela Bunt.
