Weekend Inspiration

This lovely winter weather has us all cooped up, forcing me to turn to my favorite snow day past times. Aside from finally giving in and renting Birdman (you convinced me, Academy Awards!), I spent the greater part of my morning deciding which dessert to bake and perusing social media. So while my brownies are in the oven, I’ll go ahead and fill you in on some of our favorite shots by Dallas designers from over the weekend.

Everyone loves a good makeover, and Scout Design Studio’s latest transformation is no exception. Instagram “Before and Afters” tend to focus on fitness, but we’ll gladly take these beautifully lacquered up nightstands any day. You can check out more of their custom projects here.

Paper goods goddess Melinda Jones’ is gearing up for the opening of her new storefront in Victory Park this March (we’ll be sure to report back as soon as the doors open), but in the meantime, we wouldn’t mind having a reminder that ‘You’re The Best And The Mostest’ when we wake up each morning… twin bed or not.

It’s never too soon after one weekend to start looking forward to the next. Goal this week: have this scene from Wisteria all set up and ready to go by Friday at five. Cheers!
