You’ve been growing herbs in your garden all summer. Now’s the time to pluck a few sprigs of mint and show off your mixology skills with this cocktail from bartender Nate Harden at The Tried and True. This delicious libation, and recipes for many more, can be found in D: The Cookbook.
Ingredients
Serves 1
- 2 oz Buffalo Trace Burbon
- 3/4 oz of simple syrup
- 3/4 oz of freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 5 blackberries
- 3 large sprigs of mint (hopefully from your garden!)
Muddle berries and mint. Add simple syrup and lemon juice. Stir 2 times. Add bourbon and shake. Strain over ice and garnish with mint.
