I’m not a big fan of making New Year’s resolutions, but there is one new thing I’m going to try in 2012. It’s a revolutionary idea, really. I plan to cook my own food. I gave cooking a whirl a few days ago, and—if I’m being honest—I didn’t love it. If you follow me on Twitter, you already know I have a particular problem with preparing chicken breast. But I think it might also have something to do with my sad, mismatched, possibly-not-safe-for-humans cookware. My home cabinets contain nothing as colorful and beautiful as the goods at Le Creuset. I’m wondering if this lovely cast iron set will inspire me. If you have some favorite cookware, let me hear about it!
