For the seventh straight day, Dallas County reports more than 200 new COVID-19 cases.

Dallas County reported more than 200 cases for the seventh day in a row, adding 239 new cases and four deaths on Wednesday, bringing the total to 10,958 total cases. Learn more from NBCDFW.

Dallas County’s two major testing sites have scaled back hours due to ongoing protests, The Dallas Morning News reports. The American Airlines testing center will be Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and the Ellis Davis site will be Monday-Saturday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Frontline healthcare workers are requiring more mental health support as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to pose a threat to themselves and their families, The Texas Tribune reports.

A police officer assigned to the Texas Capitol, where security has been added because of recent protests, has tested positive for COVID-19. KERA has more.
