Caraway v. Price continues. To add to the already dramatic race between Dwaine Caraway and John Wiley Price for Dallas County Commissioner, Caraway hasn't filed his last two campaign finance reports, prompting accusations from Price. Caraway said he and his treasurer have recently been sick, and of course, his attentions have been on dealing with the aftermath from his radio station fight with Price. But Caraway says he plans to file the reports today. Exxxotica finally sues Dallas. Although Roger Albright, Exxxotica's attorney, had given the city council one more day to reconsider banning the expo, nothing changed in yesterday's meeting. And so a suit has officially been filed against the city of Dallas, Mayor Mike Rawlings, and the seven council members who voted to ban Exxxotica. The lawsuit calls the ban unconstitutional and discriminatory. Albright hopes the process moves quickly enough for the event to happen in May, when it was scheduled. J.C. Penney is getting its penny's worth. A new marketing campaign for the Plano-based retailer will mean that certain items are actually sold for a penny, whether that's buy one, get one for a penny, or simply that an item costs a penny. This is part of the second year of its three-year turnaround goal to become profitable again. Someone in plano is now a millionaire. North Texas might not have won big during the Powerball, but now a Plano resident is the owner of a MegaMillions lottery ticket worth $1 million. The winning numbers were 16, 32, 39, 53, 57, with 10 as the gold MegaBall. Check your tickets, Plano!
