… if you look at the sale contract, you’ll notice that the only signature that’s notarized is the signature of the buyer, not the seller. If the buyer were skittish that the seller’s going to renege, it would be more normal to have the seller’s signature notarized, rather than the other way around. This looks to me more like the seller was trying to lock down the buyer.
