European Classic & American Favorite
Calling all cheese lovers! Scardello Artisan Cheese is hosting a cheese tasting where you will have the opportunity to compare European classics with American favorites. The tasting will also be an opportunity to discuss American cheese making trends and how American cheese has evolved from European cheeses. Reserve your spot here.

Norma’s Cafe’s 60th Birthday Party
To celebrate their 60th birthday, the Dallas favorite will be rolling back their prices to the 1950s. That means you get to enjoy chicken fried steak, meatloaf, or chicken and dressing with a side of green beans and homemade mashed potatoes for only $1.79. They have also partnered up with local non-profit, The Birthday Party Project, which throws birthday parties for homeless children living in shelters. Visit any of their three locations to take part in the daylong celebration.

Texas Ale Project’s Payne Pils Release Party
Texas Ale Project is celebrating the launch of their newest beer Payne Pils which is named after Payne Street in the design district. Pouring Glory will be at the brewery serving up some of their famous craft food. Award winning barbecue pit-master, Will Fleischman, will also be present at the event hosting one of his “Blowin’ Smoke and Tellin’ Lies” classes. Sip on the new beer while stepping up your barbecue game at the same time.

Commerce Street Night Market
Have you ever wondered what the process for making delicious tamales is like? Then head over to the Commerce Street Night Market and participate in Jose Hernandez’s “Masa for the Masses: The Art of Making Tamales.” The pop-up class will be one of several classes available throughout the night. Enjoy delicious food and listen to great music while shopping at one of the 40+ vendors.

Finding Dory Cereal Party

Reunion Lawn Party at the Hyatt Regency Dallas
What better way to celebrate the first official weekend of summer than by grabbing your picnic blanket and heading over to the Hyatt Regency for a night full of music, food, and fun. This event marks the first of three lawn parties throughout the summer. With nearly 20 food trucks, a beer garden, live music, and plenty of lawn games and activities for all ages, this an event you don’t want to miss.

If you consider yourself to be a bit of a beer connoisseur, then Ballast Point Beer Dinner #2 is an event you do not want to miss out on. This dinner is an opportunity to try some of Ballast Point’s rare beers, several of which have never been served in Dallas before. Reservations are required, so make sure to secure your spot soon.

Size Matters- A Party Brunch
Next Door in Uptown is launching their new party brunch this Sunday. The brunch, inspired by the party brunches of St. Tropez, New York City, and Los Angeles, will feature DJ HEM and half priced Large Format Champagne. Enjoy something from their newly created brunch menu while sipping on a mimosa, or two. Brunch in Dallas will never be the same.
