Whisk Crêpes Café to Open at Sylvan | Thirty in Dallas

Sylvan | Thirty will be the home of Whisk Crêpes Café, a 20-seat creperie offering sweet and savory crêpes. The 645- square foot space will be next to Teiichi Sakurai’s soon-to-open 10-seat ramen shop called Ten. Whisk Crêpes Café, “an upscale fast-casual restaurant” is expected to open in early 2015. The owner is Julien Eelsen’s. In a press release Eelsen says, “Since moving to the United States from Paris six years ago, I’ve wanted to bring the traditional French crepe experience to my new hometown. After touring Sylvan | Thirty, I knew that my concept would be a great addition to the development.” Eelsen was raised in Paris and has a family history of hotels and restaurants in the Normandy region.
