Avner Samuel Joins Lombardi Family Concepts

Lombardi Family Concepts expands across the state of Texas, hires new menu consultant.

Chef and restaurateur Avner Samuel is joining Lombardi Family Concepts as a menu consultant, just in time for the company’s expansion. The restaurant group behind Bistro 31, Lounge 31, Taverna, Toulouse, Sangria and Lombardi Catering is in the midst of taking their brand to Houston, Fort Worth, Plano and Austin.

Toulouse and an unannounced Italian concept will take the leap down to H-town, and nestle into the River Oaks District, while Taverna and Toulouse will open in Fort Worth’s University Park Village, The Domain shopping center in Austin and Plano’s Legacy West. The expansions are expected to take place over the next three years.

Samuel, who’s past concepts have included Aurora, Nosh Euro Bistro, and Snackwho recently took an active role in developing the fall menu for Highland Park’s Bistro 31.
