Dallas (January 30, 2008) – Turn up the romantic ambience this Valentine’s Day with a gourmet journey at Stephan Pyles. Celebrated Chef and Owner Stephan Pyles presents a four-course menu filled with his signature Southwestern flair this Feb. 14, designed to whet diners’ appetites for love.
The special Valentine’s Day menu consists of a choice from four first courses, four second courses, four main courses and five desserts. Starters include the Smoky Poblano-Tomatillo Soup with Pico-Tortilla Relish and Stephan’s Original Southwestern Caesar Salad with jalapeño polenta croutons and parmigiano reggiano “chicharron.” Second Course selections include Tamarind-Glazed Diver Scallops with horseradish-smoked salmon mashers and Tres Ceviches mango cocktail with avocado. Diners can choose from favorite entrée items, such as Pasilla-Braised Lamb Shank with butternut squash polenta and winter greens and Sea Bass with fingerling-goat cheese tart and smoked tomato-saffron broth. Dessert temptations include Global Chocolate for Two, five different chocolates, from five different origins, in five different applications and Pineapple-Banana French Toast with Cherimoya Ice Cream.
The special Valentine’s Day menu will be served from 5 p.m. – 11 p.m. on Thursday, February 14. The four-course dinner is $75 per person and with wine pairings it is $110 per person (tax and gratuity not included). Credit card required for all reservations and can be made by calling 214-580-7000.
